big beach in the fog

fished the big beach yesterday with my lass , started off in the fog at low tide and fished up and through high tide till the sun came out . We used rag and bluey at various range . Did not catch much to talk about but had 6 under size fish , flounders and small plaice . Nice day out and nice pint on way home

A few fish is better than no fish. At a guess I'd say you were probably over casting them; nearly all the fish I got there on Saturday evening were 15 yards out or less casting into maybe 18" to 2' of water at most
