VERY clean SPUGY.....it\'s a very shallow, sandy beach.
All the pulic car parks along the sea front are well lit and have CCTV cameras on them, 24 hours. Avoid the pub car parks at the \"Marsden Rattler\" and \"The Sundial\", though. Not too sure about the one at the \"Sundial\", but the one at the \"Rattler\" isn\'t lit.
As from 1st November, the public car parks are free, but they are locked from 10:30PM. The car park at the pier does have an area which DOESN\'T get locked - park alongside The Dunes (there\'s a bowling alley there and you can park all night - again free of charge after 1st November. This area is also well lit and monitored by 24 hour CCTV.
Most popular spots on the beach are the North corner (the pier end) and Trow rocks at the Southern end.
Some of the lads on here fish the middle of the beach - directly in front of the Marsden Rattler.
Hope this helps a bit.
