Big Fish Rigs

Well i wanted to throw this out for some advice and get others thoughts.
I am wanting to, of course, catch big fish... aren't we all?

So far this season i have been using 4" berkley hollow belly shads and sometimes tipping the hook with a little mackerel also.

I am wondering what others have been using setup / rig wise to get in the beauties...

On this not a mate of mine caught a 12lb ling on feathers as the ling went for the 1lb mackerel he had hooked. Jammy or what! Has anyone used live fish as bait? through the lip etc...?

Looking forward to seeing what your all using etc..

Mackarel flapper on a long flowing trace pennel hooks first one through the back near dorsal fin coming out in the middle of the flaps next hook through the lips i've had over ten doubles on this season the best been 12lb ling and 13lb 2oz cod always works for me
