Noticed on my way home from work at 5pm that there was a bit of a sea running around Tynemouth. Decided to give it a go for a couple of hours to use up some old bait from the weekend. Tried the Rex prom first but the waves were coming over the top. Moved to St. Mary's prom and asked about , nowt doing. Went next to the Boat House, first cast weeded up and lost about 60 yards of line within 5 mins. Out of desperation went to King Eddy's prom and had a few chucks there. Nothing to show for it despite a massive sea running in from the east. I think the rock edges might fish later tonight at low water. Trouble is it's too late as work gets in the way.
