BIG tide, flat calm

I'm thinking about getting out tomorrow afternoon; magic seaweed is forecasting swells of 0-1ft! and the tide will be ebbing from 5.6 down to 0.2!

Any recommendations for good marks, or types of ground, to fish over a big high with a flat sea?

try to fish over high water not low water ,say 2 hours before 2 hours down, roker pier or similar will be spot on , and these big tides and flat sea should produce the big spawning cod, you dont allways need it rough , to get the bigguns

I agree with cod magnet roker pier , am trying myself theres been cod there for lsst three days mostly during dsylight and most on the end also another thornback caught last night by andy rutherford

Personally I wouldn't go near the piers this time of the year. Rock marks rock marks rock marks. As already said craster Howick still throwing fish out

I have to agree with David on this one , rock marks all the way for me from now preferably up north with crab

Thanks for the replies, I ended up going to roker pier, fished the end from 10am-7pm and only got a couple of flatties, didn't see much else caught all day.
