bit camping at a friends lake

bit camping, and coarse fishing from last weekend... few carp, few silvers, roach and beam.... bit wet but got one good'n out, no clue on wieght really, full of spawn, anywhere between 8-12lb i estimate, good fight on 6lb line.

well done mate nice fish only one problem mate you should not put it down on wood if it flaps about the scales will come off its flanks you should always try and find a nice soft bit of grass have you not been on the pier lately ? i have never seen andy either

was their the other morning... lots of flats, few mackerel and coalies too. The lake, the owner doesnt like the idea of people only targeting carp, so limits people to not using ground matts/unhooking matts and things, the wood was super wet and slippy so im sure it wasnt damaged... im a gentle guy too lol only other place would have been a gravely path or a lot of sticvks
