20150222_200500.jpgFished roker pier on Wednesday night lots of people on and not alot getting caught" anyway I blanked on the pier so having 50 fresh yellows to use I was heading home and spur of the moment decided to give the south arm a go.
Don't really like fishing this spot alone being about 70 feet high cliff
got there and set up first chuck on a rough ground pennel with two big blacks on got a rockling so was not hopeful next chuck 5inch cart resulted in a plump 3lber so baited up again with cart only brought 6 cart sticks with me was wishing I made more up" anyway lost the next two rigs due to the very heavy ground so on with a rotten bottom managed to land another four two of the smaller ones on yellows left about 2am as was loosing water and having to drag gear over rocks. All in all enjoyed it but it is a little scary by yourself.

Nice bag there matey, where is the south arm? Is that the south side of Frenchmans Bay?

The arm is straight at the back of souter light house" follow the wooden fence diown to the cliff and fish on the south side of the wood fence.
You will face south and you want to be chucking slightly left" so if south is 12 oclock you need to chuck about 10.30-11 oclock into the swells if any.
Hope this helps you.

Know exactly where you mean, I usually fish the little points just to the north of there, one left of the rock and one towards the man made pinnacle.
