Hi there just wondering where the best place to fish for pouting is that ain t far away nd a 30min drive tops been told two places so far but not a place I d really fish thanks any advice on baits nd rigs to use be great

ive had them from roker and shields pier. Bigger in winter though.

yes roker 20-30 yards just before the end on the left side i believe chunks of mackerel shud take them night time fishing or just before first light

why do you want to catch pout? the only thing i used them for is conger bait in ireland! or winning sections in matches on the south coast.

the places i've seen most pout come from is crawley's & off the right side of whitley pipe.

You can catch them on spinners too mate. I have had loads of them on dexter wedges from the south coast at last light though not sure if that works around here. I'll be catching mine for the species hunt in two weeks time when I'm back on chesil
