Blackburn Farm, Yorkshire 05/07/15

Was in the Yorkshire Dales this weekend with my dad, so we had our third go at fly fishing; at a small pond at Blackburn Farm near Hawes; managed to get my first Rainbow Trout. The fish were really good fighters, jumping out the water, and the peace and quiet up there was quality.

Cheers. He didn't do to well! Had a few bites but didn't hook anything, he's still getting the hang of it. Aye, really looking forward to Sunday, monster cod, monster ling and monster pollock are my targets!

nice little spot try sharply next time if you intend to take up trout fishing some canny sport there I tend just to go on a 4hr sporting ticket catch and release
