Well i put the feelers out a while back and now close to booking after doing lots or reading up on best ports, boats and times of year to fish.

Ideally i would like to book the full boat for 2 days, the boat takes 6 anglers and the more that come the cheaper it is, prices range from £500-750 per day for the full boat depending on the distance the boat has to go off shore...around 28-40miles into the Atlantic drop off.

I am aiming for Late July until early Sept a weekend of two full days fishing.

Plan is drive down to West Wales in one or two cars depending on numbers, stay a night or two at a bnb fish two full days and return home.

Tackle and traces are provided and worth bringign a smaller rod for garfish, mackerel, haddock, coalie, congor, rays and so on while waiting for that shark run.

The boat i am looking at booking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVM6Fwon5Vs boast a great record for blue shark upto and over 150lb daily (when weather lets them out)

Looking for firm interest now before i get final prices and book.

Please note a deposit from people will be required of 25% for the boat (his rules) once booked and is none refundable.

2 day Trip of a lifetime for around £350 all in i would think

Also organising a skate trip for 2 days and a 1 or 2 day tope trip but for now putting the finishing touches to the Blue shark weekend is the priority.

Last chance to express an interest and have a break from 3-4lb cod bashing in 2016, looking for 1 more very interested person before i confirm dates with them and if ok book this trip of a lifetime.

Yesterday the boat with 5 anglers took 17 blues smallest 70lb upto 188lb and 1 porgie for 134lb.

As stated above price is £382 give or take a 5er.

Hi, just seen this hope i am not too late?
I would be happy to join the party.
I have pre booked date end of August but otherwise all date free?
Please advise.
Peter

Thanks for the interest it is amazing how few people can not see past NE boat fishing and dont have any interest in other types of fishing.

but

You maybe abit late as i have 5 people pending dates fit in but i will defo put you on the list if anyone is unable to go once the dates are confirmed

I find it amazing that you would think that !

Most lads that own boats, have kids, grandkids, mortgages, have low wages and struggle with the upkeep of their own boat, and can only manage to fish our own waters, I don't think its a case of not wanting to try different types of fishing, its a case of not being able to ..

It is not meant to be offensive and i see where you are coming from, i just thought with 100's of members at least a couple more would of been interested with it being 11 months away and if you get the weather could be a trip of a lifetime, weather being the important part as in all boat fishing,...hope 2016 is kinder on the wind front thats for sure.
