yes mate it happens nearly every year there are now a few boats targeting them in the winter such as rusgull.if i remember right there was a 900lb .one taken just off killybegs a few years ago.some fight of then buggers!!!another thing is the common skate fishing of ballycastle some real monsters been taken there.

i will show u the one i caught think it was 750lb, our very own member sless lifted it over for me u can see him in background looking worn out.

You think the rossgill is a gd boat for them, check out adrian mallory\'s he gets 90% of tuna in downings (also known as the tuna king) lol
