Just in from fishing blyth beach, just between the dunes at the middle toilets. Sea was flat and not much wind. Nothing the first hour then my mate got a dab about 1/2lb. I then started fishing short with rag/mackerel as we waited for the low tide sand bar to clear. I had 2 nice flounders with the biggest about 1 1/2lb. My mate then got another 1/2lber.
Got onto the sandbar and fished frozen blacks/squid and had a nice whiting first cast. Lots of subsequent bites but nothing hooking up. We called it a day at 10.45.
Few others fishing the beach and one guy arrived just as we were leaving. Not sure if it was anyone off here.
