Went out for some fresh air, started on the sluice breakwater, left after 2 casts and went to the middle toilets, few were fishing when I got there, had 4 casts and ended up with 3 undersize whitings, but one of the others lads said there was a 6lber from there the night before.
Came home to save the bait for Lynemouth tomorrow night
 
can you still park at the entrance into alcan and climb over the concrete blocks was there today and a bloke told me you cant ??

Don't know who you were talking to but of course you can, drive under the railway bridge and park in the Carpark on the left then walk around same as it has been for years good luck mate:)
 
As Ivan says, park in the car park to your left, follow the signs, across the road, stay on the footpath that parrallels the railway line for 40metres, then go throught where the blocks are.
Going straight across the road to the access by the sheds might be annoying the alcan. Hense the comment about not being allowed
