Well it seemed a good idea at the time.

Exactly like a nite a had few weeks ago, blyth beach birds nest on 1 rod and was using a lighter ro at close range with f/s and cast out with that and sum how me line tied itself round the bottom ring??? Wasnt very amusing, pitch black soakin and both rods tangled and blanked

Bad luck mate, was down there myself last night - after a downpour then the hailstorm I finally managed to winkle out a codling 2lb 4oz on the stroke of 10pm, only saw 2 other fish caught from around the middle toilet area. Hard going but hoping for better things once the monstrous sea starts to drop off!
