Blyth beach 16/2/14

Well myself , Neil (topsy) turner and PeterCod 8 grieves fancied fishing the Dave Jobson memorial match , so up early as fishing was from 8 till 12 .
Registered at the sea horse then down to blyth beach , the middle at the second toilets . Getting there early and it still being dark and very windy we decided to sit it the car and talk tactics .. Then a small car pulled alongside and the passenger ( we thought was a woman drinking a glass of coke ??? ) looked over and decided to draw a cock and balls in the steamy window !!!!!!!
Lordy Lordy , let's get out and they'll see we are fishermen ..
The passenger was a bloke !!!! And got out and slurred ' I take it your not here for the dogging ? Good luck fishing ' shock !!!!!!
Off we went to get our mark and it was bitter in the wind .

We fished 2 hook flappers with various baits , peter having two flounder over 30cm and a small coalie , Neil having two undersized and myself having two undersized and a baby turbot

Went back to the weight in and seen a couple of good bags so didn't stop for the result .
Not a bad day weather wise when the sun rose , think we'll have to put this sign up at the car park lol

I remember a few years back me and 2 mates were on the beach here at night time. When we finished fishing and came through the dunes there was what we thought was a woman in high heels coming out of the dunes too... we waited on her car coming past to see what she looked like as we were putting our gear away only to see a bloke dressed as a woman drive past

We park at the Middle toilets when we fish the beach-all sorts of odd people turn up in cars. Generally genuine dog walkers.
