Lots of fish last night at Meggie's Burn last night. Fished 4 hours down to LW. Two rods. Lug and Mackerel. caught 6 size flounders to 1lb, 2 whiting 12oz and 1lb, 2 small coleys and 1 small codling. Good fun night.

you caught different species, not just all ting and you enjoyed ya session, thats what its all about mate, well done

Nice session mate there's $h!t loads of 1lb whiting's about this year, last year they were all tiddlers. Most of my sized winter fish last year were coleys, yet this winter personally I haven't caught 1.

Meggie's Burn is up near the groynes towards the north end of Blyth Beach. First time I've tried it although have fished other parts of the beach before. Seems like a good mark. Was surprised that all the flatties were so big. Decent whiting too. Just a shame the codling wasn't twice the size but no complaints!
