Blyth Beach

Just got back from a canny session at the middle toilets. Fished from 7.30 til 11 and ended up with a 15.5lb bag - 5 cod, biggest just over 5 and a 2lb bass. Got absolutely soaked and windswept, but well worth the trip out. All fish fell to straight lug. Have a couple of photo's, so will post them tomorrow.

Nice bag m8 heard lots of good reports about up thear but donot no how 2 get thear can u hellp

Depends where your coming from but basically, park at the middle toilet block at Blyth beach, walk onto the beach and fish anywhere from the pipe in front of you to two hundred yards left two hours before and after low tide just after a good northerly. Use lug and try to lob into the gully that is usually quit obvious. Big cast not needed at low tide your talking thirty yards enough but beware if its really big as it gets weeded up and is unfishable.

Go through the Tyne tunnel and follow the a19 until it meets the a189 north. Follow that until you see the signs for blyth beach. At the bottom roundabout, turn right towards seaton sluice. The middle toilets are about half a mile on your left. Takes me about half an hour from Chester.
