As I had no bait and no funds for bait this morning I decided to take my younger brother spinnin on blyth pier. We got onto the end for about 1200 hrs and it wasnt long until we were both into the mackrel. I had two and he had one when there was a quiet patch. This went on for about an hr then the fish came on slowly but surely. We were joined by davey1970 and for the rest of the day the weather, banter and most importantly the fishing was great. Packed up around 1700 with 15 mackrel and our Ben had eight so not massive numbers but good enough to fill the freezer drawer for winter. Really enjoyed myself today everyone on the pier behaving apart from one guy squeezing in an crossing me straight away to which I helped him with his catch and asked him to move along which he did and was apologetic with it which made me feel a little bad but when ya stood there all day with no bother and then that happens its annoying. But all in all a great day
