fished from 6.30 - 10.30 sea looked magic, couldn,t wait to wet a line! small codlin 1st chuck then a nice dab about 8 o clock and unfortunately that was me whack a lad had one bout 2 1/2 off the end but that was it until i left. talkin to a chap as he came on the pier bout 7 30, he'd fished cresswell earlier in the evening and had managed 3 decent codlin, he had to leave to drop his m8 off to go on the lash my m8 would have been walking..........till next time

Hi Dicky, I was fishing just down from you (shoreward) and it really was a dire night. Caught a small rockling fishing shoreward after a few casts, so decided to put on the heavier gear & big hooks and fished over onto the Peeping Toms. Result - a bigger rockling (about a pound!). By about 11 I'd had enough & the pier was getting pretty empty - I don't think one sizeable fish was caught there last night.
