Blyth Pier/ Newbiggin

went to blyth this after and fished from 3 til 6 loads of people fishing and i only saw one fish a small coley caught by me. Was difficult to hold bottom at times and after loosing 3 sinkers in 20 mins , and getting crossed lines from some tosser who decided to fish on top of me i decided to move on.

I had a drive to Newbiggin thnking the new breakwater would make it easily fishable, how wrong was i, tackled up and walked down to the shore however once i got near it was obvious it was pointless fishing. Just too heavy.

Still i never broke into the rag i bought yesterday so will probs have a look out tomorrow.

Aye i hate that, Your fishing somewhere and some eedjit comes and starts fishing right next to ya when there is two miles of free pier they could fish..

What i do now is take a couple of bollards and place them 50 yards iether side of my swim..;)

well done for trying mate we have rag from today never used it
so were heading out tomozz night
if the beach isnt fishable might try the ratty or glass centre failing that the white post in between seahams piers is the spot (or the spiles area of the north pier)

thats the problem with blyth pier, always the same in a decent sea, pitty there was no fish there tho;)
