Hard lines Kenny. I had a sh*t day today on shields but that's fishing. What's the condition of pier like these days as I ain't been up there for over a year?

aye I read your Post about Shields I was thinking of going there next week aswel. The pier is looking canny mate, the bottom end is the new-ish wooden part and is good but realy slippy when it's wet. There's always a few there like. But the story is the same everywhere it seems...BLANKED! Sand eels and sprats a mile off so they say eh!?

PS are you referring to North or South Shields pier pall?

South Shields pier mate, the north one is tynemouth pier and I think you've got to be a member of a club that has an arrangement with the relevant authority to fish on it. I'm hoping to fish shields next week also so I might bump into you, I'll be around the 40 to 44 marks if I can make it.
