tried the pier today, for a few hours with me son, ryan, there were already a few lads on the straight, a genleman with his wife and daughter, all fishing, (nice to see), a few more on the bend, then a couple of lads on the end. we always go 4 the end, don`t know why, we just do, anyway, a dab each and plenty crab, then a was into a small whiting, all released safe, bait was lug, rag, mussle and prawn. did notice the water still very murky, dirty after the rough lately, but at low tide af never seen so much weed up all along blyth beach. sorry no pics, not very computer safe, still learning, til next time. sorry, according to the lads cod were taking there last night, and as we were coming off, there were plenty lads going on.
