Since the sea was very rough in the morning, i though i would give the pier a go for a couple of hours. fished just for a couple of hours, got two codling, 1 about 1 and half lb, and other just under 2lb. Even though there only small, nice to get off the mark for the season

Well done mate, was there many on the pier i would of been expecting it to be heaving with the big sea thats on.

there was a canny few on, but wernt heaving, i think the cold and the strong wind put them off. The sea had dropped off, compared to what it was like in the morning, at the start, was quite good, with a few fish getting caught up and down the pier, nothing of really big i dont think, might be wrong like.
