ended up there last neet, was meant to be on whitley beach wi me cuz but he botttled it:mad:, never fished there before so i thought i would give it a miss whilst on me own.( i'll wait till he can get out) quite dissapointed in the wata when i got to blyth, was almost flat! fished from bout 7 through 11 30 managed a dab the size of me hand a small whitey and two rockling. used rag, lug and razor but they all went for the lug. was only one other chap on the end of the pier all night, he landed about 9 30ish and was gonna give it a half hour after i left, he hadn't any thing up till then(thought i'd check the catch reports to see if he got the monster after i left!) had convinced me sel that last neet would be the neet for me first keepy cod but hey, mebee's next time eh:D

Quite often on a Northerly or North Westerly the sea around the pier will appear flat this is because Cambois Pier takes the force of the sea, chances are it would be rough at Seaton Sluice and St Mary's Lighthouse that more exposed.Probably be a different story over the weekend though
Bad luck on the lack of fish mate,i noticed there was'nt many cars parked up when i went to work lastnight

defo right alan, even a few hundred yards farther south down the beach and the sea was 'messy'. bad luck on the fish? am happy catchin(tiddla's), or nothing at all alan:exclam: i have heard anglers speak of 'nuisance fish' on a regular basis, however on carrying out an image search on the web am yet to find the said fish, could someone please post a pic:D
