Fished the pier end tonight from 8 till 1, millions of crab attacks but managed a coalie and a small codling, lolipop managed a coalie and a dab. sea was flat as a fart but hey we got out and tried, also did'nt blank which was agood thing. bait used all night was lug and rag cocktails.

It's a strange place to fish blyth pier, it's all or nothing, I think it only fishes when theres a good sea on, You still done etter than me , blanked on sunday night 7pm -2.30am you know where I was !

hmmmmm! let me guess..........lynemouth. I have a theory which is probably b0ll0cks but here goes, when the sea is rough the crabs bunker down which makes it harder for cod to get them. Hoever when the sea is flat the crabs come out....The fish are still there just they have bellies full of crab and are not interestd in anything else.

its the bollocks theories that keep getting us out fishing, like all gamblers think that its bound to happen, this run of sh*tty luck cant continue, I can outsmart those fish, its the the law of averages that I am going to catch a whale today.
It's what keeps me going.
