Hi. Yes went sat morning fist light. Only got one but put up a good fight .and a good size Sadly couldn't stay long. Saw two lads catching them on the end

I fished Blyth Pier this morning (Sunday) from about 8:45 - 10:15, there was only 1 other angler on the pier and he was bait fishing but caught nothing although he did say some mackerel were caught on Saturday. The sea was flat and the water clarity was decent so I was fairly confident of catching some mackerel. I tried 3 different parts of the pier using both daylights and dexter wedge lures but no joy

plenty of maki around roker, we went out on kayaks today and could not get to cod because of them along with small pollock and coaly's. so just maki bashed for a few hours. thought would have been gone by now.
