Fished the pier today 12 til 6pm had a few bites but no fish till dark then had 1 cod est about 2. 1/2 lb only to drop off as i swung it over the railings, was gutted,
there was the odd whitey been caught,
fished the beach last hour but nothing
Hard lines mate, but the times I've seen people hand ball a fish up from piers etc: only to see it lost by that little bit extra heave trying to get it to safety over the rails or just too eager. better luck next time.
