fished blyth started fishing into the main channel from the small beach next to pier my mate got a nice coaly aboit 12oz on rag t when we moved onto the pier as the tide flooded set up on pier just before bend and fished back towards the beach with rods long on crab n blacks which got us 8 codling with the biggest at 46cm at 2.5lb pb to blandy and my biggest at 42cm which we kept the rest went back alive on the close in rods fishing just 5-20 yards out we had over a dozen rockling biggest was nearly as big as my codling couldnt believe the size of them also had a few small coaly and a few eels best bait close in seemed to be razor
