Just incase you go straight to the forums and bypass the \"Home\" page........take a look at the top news item, there.

I only live a stones throw from the RNLI station in Blyth and i was really upset at what happened to the off shore boat,i really hope they suceed in the project and i wish them all well,i\'m not sure how they will work along side the RNLI and The Coastguard though........

saw them mentioned on the local news tonight. Doesn\'t look like the coastguard is keen on the idea. Seems like they were basically saying that they wouldn\'t be calling on there services

Hi all sorry i havent joined earlier but i have been extremely busy..

Can i just say and this is not me being funny with anyone for their comments, so please do not take it the wrong way, but The coastguard are 100% behind BVLS and have used us in 3 seperate callouts so far, they have visited us and the auxillary coastguard visit us weekly.

As for never being called out well i guess that is wrong as now proved.

Just wanted to clear things up. Thank you

welcome to NESA Steve long time no see,I get well briefed on whats going on off my mate at work who\'s a crew man, most of the concerns were from early days, looks like all this bad press/rumours have gone away though

Hi Alan Thanks for the welcome.

You are correct, like anything new and unknown there were alot of rumours an statements made, hopefully we have set those to rest here at BVLS and have proved we will and are used and are capable of doing the job as good as anyone else.

If anyone has any questions i will try to answer as truthfully as possible within my knowledge database....if i dont know the answer i will try to find out for you.
