Just getting mt kit on to go onto the beach about 6:45 pm when a guy came past carrying a fish. Bloody hell how heavy is that. He said it was 18 1/2 pounds. Wouldn\'t doubt it, what a beauty.

i got on the pier about 7.15 jim heard the stories about the 18lber that it was a beauty apparently there was another couple of doubles earlier on in the day \' i witnessed a pair of 7s and had 1 myself 5lb loads of good whiting around the 1lb 8oz mark \' loads fishing it was like blackpool illuminations my fish fell to a rag and mussel cocktail and 1 of the 7s fell to crab and razorfish.

Lol Alan. Mind I never saw another fish on the beach apart from mine. Three young lads came along not long before I left and one said he had a small Codling. Perfect conditions, just getting moved about a little but not everytime. Was straight down from the house.
