Seas looking canny so I headed down to Blyth beach and went of the hole in the wall and conditions was great apart from the little squall and went off a few wrecks a couple of miles of and straight into fish smallest codling about 2lb and best was about 9lb so headed back in a caught my 1st makky of the year ! Happy days

well done m8, av watched u lads loads of times of blyth pier, and a still think ya nuts, but ya getting good fish.
you would`nt get me in 1 of them yaks like........!

I wouldnt go out in one either , I was worried going out in an orkney 14ft boat which is supposed to be designed for the sea never mind a yak
Good on you for doing it though and a great way to catch fish if you have the bottle, stay safe though mate , the sea can change so quickly its frightening.
