It be fine, if would of been out this afternoon if i could of been bothered, sea dropped right off but alot of fog at the coast.
Yer will be down that way. Been to the marina today for a look at the new pontoons they put in, seen Jester at the front of the marina.
are you considering a move?
I think the new pontoons are priced too high and most will stay empty
The Merryfisher is my old boat, and the other one of my old boats is an Explore Elite both named Jester...never quite got to a hat trick in Sunderland....
I see the moorings are £1980 with harbour dues on top of that for upto 24 feet ....bit steep for me, at Seaham its £1100, restricted fishing times with the dock gate, but for the £1000 saving and being 10 mins from my house i'll live with it...
I still like Sunderland Marina best though.....![]()
Sunderland Marina suits me very well...
24/7 access to sea and from mooring to pier head 5 minutes .
gates, locks and a 30 minutes (6 knots) travel up river would annoy me too much...especially if I have no time and only want to fish one wreck for a couple of hours...
however, a big nuisance is that there is only a diesel and no petrol pump
Aye but the BP garage is just at the top of the bank...and the trolleys are great at Sunderland...![]()
I dont know of any marinas that provide petrol, maybe its the higher risk involved and insurance costs involved...i think they would do really well out of providing it though...
