Whats the chances of getting out on the Boats tomorrow? booked on Catch 22.
That Wind yesterday must have stirred it up a bit I guess.:(

I will go fishing from Sunderland tomorrow.

its all about the swell...should be ok tomorrow (I hope)

It be fine, if would of been out this afternoon if i could of been bothered, sea dropped right off but alot of fog at the coast.

Yer will be down that way. Been to the marina today for a look at the new pontoons they put in, seen Jester at the front of the marina.

are you considering a move?

I think the new pontoons are priced too high and most will stay empty

Always keep options open, new grounds to pillage and all that :)

Jester your Jesting arnt you? more than one Jester...get them told

Mind i also noticed two Sappires, you Sunderland lads need to start opening your minds up more and picking different names :)

The Merryfisher is my old boat, and the other one of my old boats is an Explore Elite both named Jester...never quite got to a hat trick in Sunderland....:D

I see the moorings are £1980 with harbour dues on top of that for upto 24 feet ....bit steep for me, at Seaham its £1100, restricted fishing times with the dock gate, but for the £1000 saving and being 10 mins from my house i'll live with it...:)

I still like Sunderland Marina best though.....:)

Sunderland Marina suits me very well...

24/7 access to sea and from mooring to pier head 5 minutes .

gates, locks and a 30 minutes (6 knots) travel up river would annoy me too much...especially if I have no time and only want to fish one wreck for a couple of hours...

however, a big nuisance is that there is only a diesel and no petrol pump

Aye but the BP garage is just at the top of the bank...and the trolleys are great at Sunderland...:D;)

still means, carrying stupid petrol canister on and off the boat all the time...would rather have a big 55l tank and fill it up cleanly whilst afloat and not messing around with funnels or leaky attachments.

i think Sunderland marina should provide that...just looking at how many outboarders are moored

I dont know of any marinas that provide petrol, maybe its the higher risk involved and insurance costs involved...i think they would do really well out of providing it though...

if I would be a Marina manager, I would speak to the big petrol companies....would let them work out a business case and install and run the pump(s)

However, it seems that the marina earns a few bobs by the (red) Diesel sales and wont let go that easily.
