got a last minute trip out on the sapphire 5pm 9pm monday bank holiday
not a lot of fish apart from mackerel and a 7 lb ling land by a lady angler.
I managed to land a cod of just under 10lb a new personal best for myself

my neirbour billy just over the road got a nice fillet keep him going for two days and gave another fillet to my m8 andy, not a fisherman but likes fish in fact he likes out for nowt, he will scoff the lot tonight big lad :red:

Difficult conditons this bank holiday with huge tide and iffy weather so any fish is a bonus, we called sat off, hammered good size cod and pollack on Sunday and came in after 3hrs on Monday with only a hand full due to a nasty north swell.

thanks lads for the comments it was hard going I was finding it hard just to stand up at times all over the place and the rain was a pain most of the trip.
thanks for good waterproofs.
some nice mackerel boated but a real pain after a while trying to get down onto the bottom with all your bait intact.
all credit to the skipper peter trying his best to find fish
