Boat Owners Wives.....

I think this thread has touched on a dodgy subject :o....only 3 boat owners have given thier views on wives . Maybe some boat owners wives read the posts on here...:o:o

Duncan and Mark have already supplied imput Tony :)...so all imput is welcome.....;)
Come on then spill the beans on the canoe response from er indoors...:D;)

I named the boat after her , in a round about sort of way , so what can she say about what it costs? As for time away fishing , I get a lot less grief for taking he boat out than I did when I was pike fishing and left home with a " see you when I get back " and that was three or four days later.

Adele must be a goodun Ray, you named 2 boats after her :D;)

The whole "next summer" time frame for the yak may end up getting stretched out a bit...:D

Even going at it half arsed costs you about 800 quid...and that's assuming you have the requisite storage, which I don't :red:

Long term planning required...and maybe a bit of the skippers enginmaneering skills as well :D

if in doubt......buy it anyway, worry about the brides reaction later...

soak up the gin and face the music....

oh...this isn't twitter...sorry :D

I don’t normally read these threads, but I’ve been shown it this evening. So from a long suffering fishing widow, it’s worth letting our blokes out, regularly to keep them contented, and it builds up our brownie points, so we can twist you all round our little fingers :) Anyway, boats don't cost much to run do they???

Helen

No Helen, they are peanuts to buy and run ;), hope you enjoy the thread, but i wont be showing it to my wife......she doesnt know i've got a boat...:D:D
