boat sea fishing holidays?

You could always hire a houseboat and anchor it off shields pier when the macky are in.

Only joking mate! :D

A load of the lads from South Shields Boat Club and a few from NESA go to Ireland every year, it sounds great!

ireland sounds good for fishing, seen quite a few programmes of henry gilby fishing there for mullet and that, i think i may give it ago.

you got more info on it?

planning mine right now! 4 weeks, trailing the boat up to skye, filled with camping gear, gonna camp on skye, blast over to north uist, then, benbecula, south uist, eriskay, barra and vatersay plus loads of little uninhabited islands in between, got a fortnight pencilled in for that bit, then back over to the mainland for another fortnight on ardnamurchan, with little runs over to mull, rhum, muck, eigg and canna

can't wait, find a nice wee island, anchor up and camp on the beach
reckon we can bag about 20 islands (but probably not as many fish!)

Got to say that if I was after a boat holiday in this country it would be to the same places as you go to Mark. Your holiday and catch reports always make good reading mate.

Jim.
