hope this helps, Davey.

there is a Hartlepool lad (Terry) who does a lot of boats, he has a hi-ab haulage company. This also saves on craneage for loading and offloading.

He brought a Hartlepool charter, offshore 105, up from the south west so size and weight isn't a problem, as the offshore is 32 foot and about 8-9 ton.

Have you thought abought sailing it up, I recently took a Mitchel up to Blyth from Hartlepool, nice steady ride in a couple of hours.

Let me know if you need Terry's number

hope it helps

Paul

a pal of mine bought a lobster boat from Hartlepool and steamed to blyth,
it took a lot longer than a couple of hours, but on a nice day it would be worth thinking about.

Sorry Pal, that wasn't the Mitchel, it was mine when I brought it down from Blyth the Mitchel took a little longer, a lobster boat would take a little longer and I am sure if the OP has a good day and decides to sail it up it'll take as long as it takes. (unless its a 23 foot wooden offshore power boat)

Some readers may be missing the point, ....nice day ..get the tides right, ..nice ride up to Blyth...... cheaper than 2 cranes and transport ....... if takes 2 hours or if it takes 6 hours who cares.................
