Well am off on another Free Trip On The Delta Barbara on saturday all payed by me cousins school or something like that.

Tony, am getting them tablets on friday mate, hopefully i can fish all day this time instead of half day like i did last time and missed all the cod.

last time they was only daylights, but i am going to take sum crab this time...any one got a simple rig i could use?

;) :D ;)

Forecast not looking good for the weekend johnny, plus big tide! :(

For a simple rig, just tie a 3 way swivel to a main line, with a short length of line off the bottom for ya sinker and longish trace off the last eye of the swivel (6ft & 8/0 for ling, 4ft & 6/0 for cod)

will do i took 40 mark took 40
i have managed to get rid of 20 in the street rest frozen down.

well at least i wont have to supply u this winter

er check pms and will sort u summit oot trace wise

The tablets could make all the difference, m8.

Keith\'s right about the BIG tides this weekend (biggest of the year)....you\'ll be fair wizzzing ower the wrecks.

The 2 rigs Keith mentioned are the easiest, Jonny. The sinker snood should be very short - only a matter of a few inches.

A variation on the one Keith mentioned for cod:
Stick another hook on to make a flowing pennel trace and use a whole squid - great for Pollack.........Cod\'ll take it, too.

Shame Jonny - but not really surprised, m8.

I was on the pier most of yesterday and boats were having a rough time of it - even some of the bigger charter boats.

Just had a drive along the coast road and the sea looks \"rather lumpy\" agin today. That, combined with the BIG tides thgis weekend would\'ve made your trip out a bit \"uncomfortable\"......lol

Funny how things can be so different such a short distance away - I was off Sunderland about 12ish on Friday, and it was flat & nearly windless.
