boat trip

Hi i am after abit of information.
myself and a few of my fishing mates want to get out on a boat sometime soon. done plenty of fishing from shore and wanting to try the boat scene now.
does anyone have names and numbers of any skippers around the north east that i could try and get in touch with?? (we all drive so distance is no problem!)
i know its probably short notice but we want to try and get out on the boat before christmas!

Not the best time of year to start boat fishing but if your keen then as stated above i think the JFK is the only charter out the Tyne that goes out in the winter months but would need a few to go for the fuel costs. Mistress also runs out the Tyne but think he packs it up end of Summer but maybe wrong, best to check.

Few boats out of Harlepool do it also (see catch reports)

Out on charters this time of year and into Feb i have had mix results, some days had upto 16 codling close in and others just whiting, its all good fun thou

cheers just spoke to Alan (jfk skipper) and he is going out this weekend and might have a few spaces left so might get out this weekend ive only done boat fishing once before but really enjoyed it so think we will give this a try!

Well let us know how you get on, i am poking my nose out on Saturday if sea stays light but wont be doing much fishing just taken family up the coast, sure sneak 1hr or so in

we are going out thursday (shore fishing) and hope to get out on sunday on the boat (just depends what day the weather is better either sat/sun)

I will post a report on here and let you know how we get on!
