Well, did the romantic thing and left wor lass in the hoose this valentines day watching the soaps. I did get her a card from Morissons garage like on the way home....
Chucked the rod and kit in the car and headed down to Tynemouth beach....
Fished 2 hours up and got nothing, not even any weed! Sea has died right off and there was bearly a ripple on the surface!
No bites, nowt!
I fished the north side of the skeer and there was nobody else aboot! There must be a few romantics oot with their birds tonight I thought!
Either that or they noticed that the sea was flat!
Is it better to fish the north or south side of the skeer?
