decided to fish here for my first time pike fishing ended up with 3 biggest about 5lb and my son managed one aswell really enjoyed it and the pike jumping out of the water made my day good sport

Nice 1 mate, what were your tactics? They do fight much harder in the summer.

where do you buy a ticket for the lake mate how much and what time does it open

tickets can be bought from the post office in belsay £8 for adults and £4 for kids aged 5 to 16 i think gates for the carpark were opened when i got there about 8.30 and close at 8.00p.m the tactics i used was deadbaiting as spinning is not allowed

top car park and walked down to the picnic area and fished off the jetty
