bought a new rod for xmas

just been out and bought a new rod for xmas its a shimano antares bx.

looking forward to using it but have to wait till after xmas day.

wonderin what your thoughts are about the rod

ive got an original shimano antares mate and it is a very nice rod,i like it a lot.

whats it like for places like newbiggin and craster etc.

cos i'm not allowed to touch it till xmas day....... orders from mam

the version ive got i just use it for clean or mixed ground,i prefer something pokier for heavy ground.

this rod feels a biut stiff (keep it clean )

it is able to take from a 4oz to 8 oz sinker.
