Boxing Day Fishing

Hi Guys

Was planning on going fishing on boxing day and was wondering where to go to test my new rod, and help re-introduce my dad back into fishing, (bought him all of his fishing gear xmas).

looking to fish from somewhere near to seaham to hartlepool during the day.

any advice and suggestions would be really helpful.

hi tommy,not a competition person myself but everyone to there own but if i recall rightly seaham club have an open competition on every year, north pier and blast beach have been fishing well but conditions have to be right .

I,m on earlys 7 x 4 pm but it is double time.

seaham sea angling club boxing day open fished noon till 5 pm
register at the new angling head quarters next to barclays bank seaham (opposit the dock top gates)
i think registration is from 10am till 12 on the day

iff your stuck pm me mate i can meet you and show you a few spots ect

dont need big casts on the pier , lately most fish have been caught with a 30 yard lob .
