Brigams 15/11/07

fished for a few hours last nigh, was going to go over the water to sea tony and the boys but due to the fact our lass had locked her keys in her house i had to cut my sesh short to go break into her house!!! anyhooo!!!

Got to brigams about quater past 5 with my newley aquired Ron Tompson Accelorator, have been out this week for a few practice casts and i was quiet impressed, the first thig i noticed last night was how stiff it was and how what would have showen as massive bites on my VFM Sport were just little rattles but i'm sure i'll get used to it!

Nice one Phil. Got meself a RT about a month ago been to busy to get out though but hopefully over the weekend. need to practice aswell not used to a multiplier so should be fun,did you change the reel seat?

oh forgot to say all fish were taking on lug and rag combos on a pulley pennel, all but 1 on the top hook!

get out on a field and practice mate. i was sending my weight 100-110 meters with my old rod, with my magnetic breaks totaly off! with the RT i have my breaks on half and am hitting 120 meters, so with enough practice i'm sure i'll be able to hit over 150 meters just need to load the rod correctly, failing that i'm getting my dream rod a Reelspord Responce had c cast of on form a lad last weeked(cheers mate) the power was outstanding!!

Reelsport longbeach/response is magic. A nice blend of tip tornado grand prix and sport rolled into a longer rod.

Can hit nearly 180 yards+ with just a lead.
