Busy Week!!

Oh by the way Rob, i left you a little surprise. That meal that SWMBO and I enjoyed in the restaurant downstairs, I signed for it in your name. :P :D ;)

Jim.

BTW (while I remember in my drugged up state), I would like to extend an open invitation to all of the NESA members who I\'ve had the pleasure of knowing/fishing with over the years, to our evening reception this Saturday, from 7:30pm, in the Harbour Suite of the Littlehaven Hotel in South Shields. So if you\'re not fishing, get yourself down for a drink!!

It is right next to the groin at S. Shields mate. Look out of the restaurant window and that is your view.

Jim.

Yes, a fantastic day was had by all. It was great of you and Yvonne to be able to make it all that distance Jim, thanks mate :D

After the hectic start to the day (Had to rush out for an ink cartridge to print my speech off, Robert dropped and lost my cufflinks down the back of the fire and Beth was sick on her clothes just before we were due to leave) the rest of the day went without a hitch.

Best part of the day had to be getting back to the room and chilling out on the balcony with a bottle of bubbly, overlooking the harbour with just the sound of the sea, pure bliss after 19 hours on my feet :D

Sounds like the perfect end to a not so perfect week Rob :D

Very surprised to see you up allready Rob mate. :D

Got to be honest mate, if Yvonne had had her morning medication with her I would have been asking if they had a spare room as we were enjoying it and didn\'t want to leave lol.

Jim.

A few pictures of the happy day (just relatives/friends snaps - not the professional ones)

Really pleased that you had a great day, Rob. Looks like the weather was good for you both, aswell.

Lovelly words from young Mr. Thompson - I think they convey all our sentiments very well - N1 Ian :D

Couldn\'t help having a chuckle at your \"well the big day is here\" post.......what\'s the 1st thing you do on the morning of your wedding?..........log-on to NESA.......hahahaha......CLASS....lol !

BTW - the photographer caught in the last photo looks like he\'s using my Metz flash :o

Sorry I wasn\'t there on the night, but not being able to use my (now deceased) old PC, I didn\'t know anything about it, until jim rang me on the night, itself. As you know, I only live about 10 minutes away from the Littlehaven and ordinarilly, I would\'ve nipped down after Jims\' call - however - I\'d just polished off a bottle of wine and had started on the 2nd one when Jim rang. The only way I could\'ve got there was to drive, as I was in no fit state to walk....lol

I did wish you both all the best when I started on bottle number 2 :P

Cracking pics Rob.

Lol mate as Yvonne is disabled there is no problem parking there.

Can\'t see the extra strengtheners on the seat in the bottom picture, were they cleverly removed or did the photographer get you all to strategically place your legs in front of them lol.

Jim.
