Butchery...

not sure this one would be worth butchering, but scores highly on the cute factor, found on sunday a long way from the nearest live bunny hole, eyes still shut, so less than 7 days old.

kids decided to bring him home and have been hand feeding him with a syringe

doubly cute at feeding time

didn't think he'd last the night but is absolutely thriving, eyes now open and scurrying about the place happy as larry, was seen climbing on top of the dog earlier - a German Shepherd with a taste for fresh rabbit is a bold move for something snack sized. Give the dog her due though, she just sniffed it, licked it and lay back down

been wondering about the possibilities of rabbit fois gras and am threatening the kids I'll be fattening him up pronto

looking at that last piccy reminded me of a funny thing happened to me a fair few years ago in wales, its about 05:30 i`ve walked the golf course, no rabbits, had a wander around the woods, no rabbits and thinks ooo the old quarry, always a couple daft bugs in there, the quarry`s like a bottle so i walks quietly through the small entrance, nothing, walks into the middle of the quarry, nowt!! suddenly i hear noise behind me, turns mounting the rifle as i do and in the scopes this white ar5e giving it hell for leather between a pair of thighs :o:D, they were behind some rocks which is how i walked past them, she spots me and is trying to hide, hes on the homeward stretch and oblivious to everything, being a `gentleman` i decides i may as well sod off, as i pass them and i have him looking at me i ask the obvious " not seen any fu**in rabbits have you"
