only took 2 fresh mackerel and wished id takes some fresh crab or rag worm when I saw the sea,nice roll on and looked great for a bass.anyway fished right up the north end of beach,could see the sand bar and gutter running into the mouth of wandsbeck so dropped strips of bait into there,not much to write home about but at least I was out fishing.got a few flatties,one of them a double side one.another guy fishing to my right but he got nowt,he had tried four different spots today with no return,if your on here nice chatting to you.

Did you enjoy several refreshing beverages whilst fishing?

Just asking as some scruffy urchin left a pile of cans in exactly the same place you were set up.

I don't drink and never leave rubbish anywhere.and I aint a scruffy urchin either.there were no cans there when I left,was a guy next to me to and he didn't leave any either as I walked past where he had been on way back up the ramp

Having fished with Peter I can guarantee the mess was not off him. Like he says he doesn't drink anyway.

You get a lot of people up there for a day out on the beach drinking/picnicing/being brainless scuffers/candidates for Jezza that don't appreciate the area they are in. That isn't including the beach party night time types either.

Great report and Pics. Especially those showing the double sider. I've heard plenty about them but its the first one I've seen.
