fished the wbove 2 marks today 12 til 8, big swell on and rougher than I thought it was gonna be, champion cod time I thought, I thought wrong, beach for a couple hours then went to the wall onto rough ground, weather was horrific, used rag, lug, squid, muscle and bluey all bats returned untouched, wtf do I have to do to catch a cod thats 5 trips out between 8 n 12 hour sessions with a variety of baits ij 2 weeks and not 1 cod to take home, bloody sick

Simmo same here mate just been catching small baby codlings when scratching in comps.
There is only one way i am going to catch a cod this season and that is when i go to Norway in February for a weeks fishing.

Mick.

Cambois beach is really a nite time beach, unless your after flatties. The wall is very hit and miss, mainly miss. Fishing behind the orange bins is a slightly better mark as its a bit deeper. Keep plugging away, youll get one.

Hello simmo1 I am in the same boat as u just waiting for 1 half decent cod of 3 lb and up would make my year and fishing 10-12 hour sessions 1 or 2 times a week help help help
