Fished the flood at cambois tonight. Not much about had 4 small flounder all returned except the one some womans husky bit in half just as i was putting it back!
Just on the top of the tide had a massive slack liner felt like a cracking fish but lost it less than ten yards out was gutted.

Nets won't make no difference its you need low water and darkness with a nice bit of sea running or the only thing you can expect is flatties, september onwards with a sea on is best time to fish it

totally agree m8 yes it can be quite this time of year but you put a bait out there you never know shame about the lost fish which probably was a decent size cod but well done anyway

Aye i know the best time to fish it, 3 months is a long time to wait when you've only got 3 hours to kill.

Completely agree Peter, just being out there on a summers evening can be enough in itself

Better than me I blanked at Seaton Carew. Also had a few dogs sniffing round but did not mind.
