Fished Cambois beach all afternoon. Was hoping for Turbot and Bass, with ragworm on the big rod and mackerel baits on a three hook flapper, closer in, on the smaller rod.
It was a cracking day, blue skies all day, but didn't get the targets. Only caught flounders, over 20 of them, biggest was 31cm.
Also caught a small double sider.
The fish went off after high tide, but decided to have a chuck in the river from the jetties behind Cambois, before coming home.
Managed to get a few small Sea Scorpions down the side to christen my new LRF rod and to top up my species list.
Got another all-dayer planned for tomorrow, target: Plaice.
